Breasts, Hippies, and Cream Cheese Frosting
Do you like lunch? Do you like pastry? Do you like art exhibitions featuring photographs of women breastfeeding their babies?
Welcome to Brattleboro Vermont, where hippies rule. Well, perhaps not rule. They really do more hanging out on the streets giving you scathing looks as
you walk past holding that shopping bag which represents your wasteful spending, consumerist nature, and disregard for the environment.
You could make peace with the hippies by buying a vegan (that’s right, vegan) maple nut raspberry thumbprint cookie. It’s a granola cookie coated in a sticky maple glaze with a dollop of tasty raspberry jam in the center. It is good. In fact, maybe too good. Is this really vegan or did they sneak some butter, cream, and eggs in here?
Just don’t tell them that you also bought a cream cheese frosted carrot cake cupcake. It’s covered in a tall mound of dairy based frosting.
And it’s a good cream cheesy frosting that’s super smooth and slightly tart. And the cupcake is a light moist cake with raisins and
fresh grated car… Ah who the hell cares about the cake, just look at all that frosting!!!
There’s pastry here for everyone. Some of the vegan persuasion, and some just loaded with delicious delicious animal products. And don’t worry about the breasty wall art. The baby’s heads are positioned in such a way to make them tasteful and G-rated. Well, maybe PG-13.
